Cisticola natalensis (Smith, A, 1843)

Croaking Cisticola, Cisticola natalensis, is a passerine of the family Cisticolidae found widely across Africa. It is a resident breeder in grassland, especially where the vegetation is tall and close to swamps or water. The species is notable for its nest, which is placed deep in the grasses and made with plant down, cobwebs and grass, sometimes with living leaves woven in. The nest is rounded and has a side entrance, and the female lays 2-4 eggs. It was described by Smith, A in 1843.
