Cuban Kingbird

The Cuban Kingbird (Tyrannus cubensis) is a species of bird native to Cuba and the Isla de la Juventud. It is a member of the tyrant flycatcher family and is known for its distinctive call and aerial acrobatics. The Cuban Kingbird is a medium-sized bird with a grayish-olive upperparts and a pale yellow underbelly. It has a black tail with white outer feathers, and a broad bill. These birds are often found in open woodlands, forest edges, and urban areas, where they feed on insects and occasionally small fruits. They are known for their aggressive behavior towards predators and other birds, often mobbing them to drive them away from their territory.
