Curl-crested Manucode, Manucodia comrii, is a bird-of-paradise found in the D'Entrecasteaux Archipelago and the Trobriand Islands east of south-eastern New Guinea. It breeds in Australasia within Papua New Guinea. The species was described by Sclater in 1876. Its name honours Dr Peter Comrie, who first found it on Fergusson Island in 1874. It is a member of the family Paradisaeidae and is the largest manucode, with curled head feathers and twisted central tail feathers. Both sexes are alike, though the female is slightly smaller.
