Dark-rumped Rosefinch, Carpodacus edwardsii, is a finch in the family Fringillidae that breeds in the central to eastern Himalayas and the Hengduan Mountains. Its range runs through southern and south-eastern Tibet and central Nepal north-east to southern Gansu and western Sichuan, and south to northern Myanmar and north-western Yunnan. It is associated with high-montane forest, scrub and meadows. The species was described by Verreaux, J, in 1871.
