Dark-sided Flycatcher

The Dark-sided Flycatcher is a small passerine bird found in East Asia. It has a distinctive dark grey head and back, with a white throat and underparts. This species is known for its insect-catching behavior, often perching on exposed branches to hunt for prey. It prefers dense forests and woodland areas, where it can find ample insects to feed on. The Dark-sided Flycatcher is a migratory bird, spending the breeding season in Siberia and northern China, and then migrating south to Southeast Asia for the winter.
