Dark-sided Flycatcher, Muscicapa sibirica, is a passerine of the flycatcher family that breeds across central and eastern Asia into south-east Asia. It is a small bird with a broad breeding range in the Palearctic and Oriental regions, and birds from northern areas move south in winter. It was first described by Gmelin in 1789. It is set apart by its dark grey-brown upperparts, pale wingbar, white throat and half-collar, and white centre to the lower breast and belly. It also has a large eye with a pale ring.
