Dark-throated Oriole Oriolus xanthonotus is a passerine in the family Oriolidae, the figbirds, Old World orioles and piopios. It occurs in the Oriental Region, breeding on the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and offshore islands, Java and south-west Borneo. It was described by Horsfield in 1821.
