Diamantina Tapaculo, Scytalopus diamantinensis, is a tapaculo of north-east Brazil, confined to the Chapada Diamantina in Bahia. It was described in 2007 by Bornschein, Maurício, Belmonte-Lopes, Mata and Bonatto. The bird lives in surviving pockets of dense forest within a landscape otherwise made up of campo rupestre. Its range lies between 850 and 1,600 m. It is a small passerine in the family Rhinocryptidae, and the adult male has dark grey upperparts, paler grey underparts and buff flanks with dark bars.
