Dinelli's Doradito

Dinelli's Doradito, Pseudocolopteryx dinelliana, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in South America from central Paraguay and south-western Brazil to central Argentina. It was described by Lillo in 1905. The bird is tied to marshy places near water, especially reedbeds, grassy wetlands and shrubland, and it reaches only 500 m above sea level. It is a small, slender species with a dark brown eye and a narrow black bill. Its breeding grounds are in Córdoba, Santiago del Estero and, formerly, Tucumán, with movement northwards in the austral winter.
