Drab Water Tyrant

Drab Water Tyrant, Ochthornis littoralis, is a passerine of Amazonia in South America and belongs to the Tyrannidae family. It is a bird of the western Amazon Basin, recorded from eastern Colombia through Ecuador and Peru to north-western Bolivia, and across southern Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and much of north-western and north-central Brazil. It stays close to water, especially broad rivers, and is most often seen on steep banks and islands, where it uses exposed roots and debris. It is the sole species in its genus and has no subspecies.
