Drab Whistler

Drab Whistler, Pachycephala griseonota, is a bird of the Pachycephalidae family that breeds in Australasia, on the Banggai and Sula islands east of Sulawesi and in the Moluccas. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. First described by Gray in 1862, it was originally named Pachycephala griseonota. The species is represented by six recognised subspecies across these island groups, including forms from Seram, Buru, the Kai Islands, the Obi Islands, and the northern Moluccas.
