Dull-blue Flycatcher, Eumyias sordidus, is a resident breeder in the hills of central Sri Lanka and belongs to the flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. It is a small passerine of the Oriental Region, first described by Walden in 1870. The species was once placed in Muscicapa. It breeds in deciduous mountain forest above 600 m, and is not common below 900 m. Its nest is a lined cup of moss, usually set on a shaded rock ledge, and the normal clutch is two or three pink eggs marked with brown.
