Dusky Pigeon, Patagioenas goodsoni, is a pigeon of the forests of western Colombia and north-west Ecuador, where it occurs in the Chocó region. It was described by Hartert in 1902. This bird is a member of the Columbidae and is the only species in its group. It is a medium-sized pigeon with a grey to purplish grey head, throat and breast, a grey nape with a purple sheen, olive brown to dark purplish brown upperparts, and bronzy grey wings and tail. Its eye may be red in several shades.
