Dusky-throated Antshrike, Thamnomanes ardesiacus, is a passerine of the antbird family in northern and western Amazonia in South America. It was first described in 1868 by Sclater and Salvin. The species is found east of the Andes in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, and also in Brazil, Venezuela and the Guianas. It lives mainly in the understorey of terra firme evergreen forest, and is less often recorded in várzea forest. The nominate form and T. a. obidensis are recognised, with the latter having a shorter tail.
