Dusky Thrush, Turdus eunomus, is a thrush that breeds in the Palearctic, from north-central to north-eastern Russia, and spends the non-breeding season from India to Japan. It is a member of the thrush family and was described by Temminck in 1831. It nests in trees, placing three to five eggs in a nest that is untidy outside but neatly lined within. Birds on migration and in winter often gather in small flocks. The species is a medium-sized, stocky thrush with a dark brown back and rump, black face, breast and flank spots, and white belly and undertail.
