Dusky Tit, Melaniparus funereus, is a bird of the tit family found in the African tropical rainforest, with its breeding range in central Africa. It was described by Verreaux, J and Verreaux, É in 1855. It is almost entirely black, with brownish or grey tones that vary by sex, and it has red eyes. It is a small to medium-sized bird, measuring 13 to 15 cm. It was once placed in Parus before being moved to Melaniparus.
