Ecuadorian Thrush, Turdus maculirostris, is a bird of western Ecuador and north-western Peru in the thrush family Turdidae. It was described by Berlepsch and Taczanowski in 1884. In Ecuador it occurs from near the Colombian border south through the country, and in Peru it is confined to the inland part of the far north-west. It is a year-round resident and is found in open lowland and subtropical habitats, including light forest, woodland, forest edges, clearings and gardens near forest. It is a shy bird, and its nest is made from plant fibres, mud and moss.
