Ecuadorian Trogon, Trogon mesurus, is a bird of south-west Ecuador and north-west Peru in the trogon family. It breeds in humid evergreen forest and semideciduous forest, both along the edges and within the interior. In Ecuador it occurs from sea level to about 2,000 m, while in Peru it is found between 400 and 1,250 m. It was once treated as part of black-tailed trogon, but is now recognised as a separate species. The species is monotypic.
