Eiao Monarch, Pomarea fluxa, was a bird of Eiao in the north-west Marquesas Islands of north-east Polynesia, within the Pacific Ocean. It belonged to the Monarchidae family and was described by Murphy & Mathews in 1928. It was confined to French Polynesia and lived in subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland. The species was last recorded in 1977. It is extinct, with introduced predators, possible disease linked to introduced birds, and habitat loss from grazing by introduced sheep all implicated.
