Pardaliparus elegans (Lesson, RP, 1831)

Elegant Tit, Pardaliparus elegans, is a bird of the Philippines, where it is found across most islands in tropical moist lowland forest and tropical moist montane forest. It is a tit with nine recognised races, and they vary in the amount and placement of white or yellow marking on the wings and black areas. The species was once placed in Parus before being assigned to Pardaliparus and then Periparus. It is also known from elevations up to 2,480 metres above sea level.
