Batis erlangeri
Erlanger's Batis is a small passerine bird found in eastern Africa. It is characterized by its distinctive black and white plumage, with a black head, white belly, and black wings and tail. The species is known for its agile and acrobatic foraging behavior, often catching insects in mid-air. It inhabits dense woodlands and forest edges, where it can be observed darting between branches and foliage in search of prey. Despite its limited range, the Erlanger's Batis is not currently considered to be at risk, and its population is believed to be stable.
