Euler's Flycatcher

Rhynchocyclus aequinoctialis

Euler's Flycatcher, scientifically known as Rhynchocyclus aequinoctialis, is a small passerine bird found in South America. It is known for its distinctive call and behavior, often observed perching in the middle and upper levels of the forest canopy. This species is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a distinctive white eye-ring. It primarily feeds on insects and is an important part of the forest ecosystem. Euler's Flycatcher plays a role in seed dispersal and insect population control. Although not currently classified as threatened, habitat loss and deforestation are potential risks to its population.
