The Eurasian magpie, also known simply as the magpie, is a striking black and white corvid with a long tail and a distinctive chattering call. These highly intelligent birds are known for their bold and inquisitive nature, often collecting and hoarding shiny objects. They are opportunistic omnivores, feeding on a wide variety of foods including insects, small mammals, fruits, and carrion.
