Pica pica (Linnaeus, 1758)

Eurasian Magpie, Pica pica, is a breeding bird of the Palearctic, ranging across northern Eurasia from the British Isles and western Europe to eastern Siberia. It is a member of the crow family and is known in Europe simply as the magpie. Among the birds called magpies, it belongs to the Holarctic group of monochrome forms. It is also noted for its intelligence and is one of the few bird species that has passed the mirror test.
