Eurasian Reed Warbler

The Eurasian Reed Warbler is a small migratory bird known for its distinctive song, which is often heard in reedbeds and marshes. This warbler has a slender body with brownish upperparts and pale underparts. It has a long, thin bill and a habit of skulking in dense vegetation. During the breeding season, it builds its nest among reeds and sedges, where it lays a clutch of eggs. This species is known for its remarkable migration, traveling thousands of kilometers between its breeding and wintering grounds. It feeds on insects and other small invertebrates, foraging within its preferred wetland habitats.
