The Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) is a medium-sized member of the thrush family, known for its striking appearance and melodic song. This migratory bird is native to Europe and Asia, and is characterized by its slate-grey head and nape, chestnut-brown back, and speckled underparts. Fieldfares are often found in open countryside, woodlands, and parks, where they forage for insects, berries, and fruits. During the breeding season, they construct cup-shaped nests in trees or shrubs. This species is known for its large, noisy flocks during the winter months, as they migrate to milder climates. The Fieldfare is currently listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
