Fiery-throated Hummingbird

The Fiery-throated Hummingbird is a stunning species found in the high-altitude cloud forests of Costa Rica and Panama. This hummingbird feeds on nectar from a variety of flowers and is an important pollinator in its ecosystem. It is a small, agile bird with a long, slender bill adapted for feeding on the nectar. The species is known for its elaborate courtship displays, including aerial acrobatics and vocalizations. Despite its localized range, the Fiery-throated Hummingbird is not currently considered at risk of extinction.
