Pseudobulweria macgillivrayi (Gray, GR, 1860)

Fiji Petrel, Pseudobulweria macgillivrayi, is a petrel of the Pacific Ocean, probably breeding on Gau in Fiji and ranging over the seas around Fiji outside the breeding season. It was described by Gray in 1860. It is a small, dark gadfly petrel with chocolate-coloured plumage, a dark eye and bill, and pale blue patches on the feet. It is known from Gau Island and nearby waters, and records at sea have come from south of the island.
