Fiji Woodswallow, Artamus mentalis, is a passerine in the Artamidae family and breeds in Fiji, on Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby islands. It is a chunky bird with a heavy blue bill tipped in black. Its upperparts are sooty dark, while the belly, rump and throat are white. The white on the throat reaches as far as the bill, which helps separate it from the white-breasted woodswallow. It was described by Jardine in 1845.
