Finsch's Wheatear (Oenanthe finschii) is a small passerine bird found in the rocky and stony habitats of central and eastern Asia. This species is known for its distinctive black and white plumage, with a black mask across the eyes and a white belly. The males have a striking blue-grey upperparts, while the females have a more subdued brownish-grey coloring. Finsch's Wheatears are often seen perched on rocks or low shrubs, where they hunt for insects and small invertebrates. They are known for their agile and acrobatic flight, often darting and hovering to catch their prey. Despite being relatively common in its range, the species faces threats from habitat loss and degradation.
