Fire-maned Bowerbird, Sericulus bakeri, is a bowerbird of the forests of the Adelbert Range in north-east New Guinea. It is found only in this breeding area. The male is black, with a fiery orange crown and upper back, long neck plumes, a yellow iris and a golden yellow wing patch. The female is brown, with whitish underparts marked by brown bars. It builds an avenue-type bower with stick walls on both sides. The species was described by Chapin in 1929.
