Flammulated Bamboo Tyrant, Hemitriccus flammulatus, is a passerine of south-west Amazonia in South America, recorded from eastern Peru, far western Brazil and northern Bolivia. It lives in terra firme forest and is closely tied to Guadua bamboo stands. The nominate form occurs in Peru, Acre, Rondônia, Beni and Cochabamba, while H. f. olivacens is known from western Santa Cruz. It is a year-round resident. The sexes share the same plumage, and adults show an olive-green crown, a pale grey eye-ring and spot above the lores, and a dull brownish-grey throat and breast.
