Flammulated Flycatcher, Ramphotrigon flammulatum, breeds in south-west and southern Mexico in Middle America, where it is tied to dry deciduous forest, arid thorn forest and scrubby woodland along the Pacific coast. It is a member of the Tyrannidae family. The bird has an olive to grey-brown plumage, a pale grey streaked chest, a white throat, a black bill, dark grey feet and dark brown wings. It is usually hard to see because it stays low in cover. The female lays about three eggs in a nest placed in a shallow tree cavity.
