Forbes's Forest Rail, Rallicula forbesi, is a bird of the Sarothruridae family that breeds in montane parts of western to north-eastern and south-eastern New Guinea, including the Adelbert Range and the Huon Peninsula. It was described by Sharpe in 1887. Its range is in Australasia. The species is associated with forest in both lowland and montane areas, within subtropical or tropical moist habitats.
