Elaenia frantzii

Frantzius's elaenia (Elaenia frantzii) is a small passerine bird found in the highlands of Costa Rica and western Panama. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a distinctive white eye-ring. This species is often found in the canopy of montane forests, where it forages for insects and small fruits. Frantzius's elaenia is known for its melodious and repetitive song, which can be heard throughout the day. While the population size is unknown, the species is not currently considered to be at risk of extinction.
