Fulvous Parrotbill, Suthora fulvifrons, is a passerine of the Himalayas and south-west China, where it lives in dense bamboo stands in or beside forest. It is a bamboo specialist and is found in montane country. The bird is small and the sexes look alike. The nominate form has a rich buff head, wing coverts, flanks, rump and tail, with a white belly and a dark stripe above the eye. Juveniles are darker, especially underneath. It is not thought to move seasonally, and it has several named subspecies across its range.
