Garnet Pitta, Erythropitta granatina, is a bird of the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo in the Oriental Region, and it belongs to the Pittidae family. It lives in moist lowland forest. The Sabah population in Malaysia has been treated separately as the black-crowned pitta, Erythropitta ussheri. It is also known from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand. Its breeding range is given as the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo.
