Garnet Robin, Eugerygone rubra, is a bird of the Petroicidae family in montane New Guinea. It occurs in the island’s moist montane forests, where it is part of the Australasian robins. The species was first described by Sharpe in 1879 from a specimen taken in the Arfak Mountains. It was later placed in the genus Eugerygone. It is the only species in that genus.
