Giant Conebill, Conirostrum binghami, is a passerine of the tanager family that breeds in the high Andes from Colombia to Bolivia, with its range also reaching northern Chile and north-west Argentina. It is associated with Polylepis trees in mountain woodland. A notable feature is its larger build compared with other conebills, and it is also linked with nuthatch-like foraging. The species was described by Chapman in 1919. It belongs to the order Passeriformes and the family Thraupidae.
