Giant Grey Shrike

Giant Grey Shrike, Lanius giganteus, is a bird of the family Laniidae that breeds in central China. Its natural home is temperate forest. It was once treated as part of the Chinese Grey Shrike, Lanius sphenocercus, but the IOC recognised it as a separate species in 2021. Described by Przevalski in 1887, it belongs to the passerine order and is one of the shrikes.
