Glistening-green Tanager, Chlorochrysa phoenicotis, is a bird of the montane forests of Colombia and Ecuador in South America. It belongs to the tanager family, Thraupidae. The male is mostly a vivid emerald green, with small grey marks behind and below the eye and another on the shoulder. The female is a little less bright than the male. It was described by Bonaparte in 1851.
