Golden Babbler, Cyanoderma chrysaeum, is a babbler in the family Timaliidae and breeds across the Oriental Region from the Himalayas of central Nepal to southern China, Vietnam and Sumatra. It is found in subtropical lowland and montane forests. Its crown and nape are golden-yellow with fine striping, and it has olive-green wings and yellow underparts. Edward Blyth described it in 1844 from Nepal, and it is now placed in Cyanoderma rather than the earlier Stachyris name.
