The Golden-bellied Gerygone is a small, insectivorous bird found in Australia and Papua New Guinea. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, bright yellow underparts, and a distinctive white eye-ring. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the dense foliage of its forest and woodland habitats. Golden-bellied Gerygones are highly active and agile, foraging for insects in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. They are known for their remarkable agility and acrobatic flight patterns. Although not currently classified, their population trend is considered stable.
