Myiothlypis fraseri
The Golden-bellied Warbler (Myiothlypis fraseri) is a small passerine bird found in the Andes of South America. It has a distinctive bright yellow underparts and olive-green upperparts, with a black mask through the eyes. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the dense undergrowth of cloud forests. It forages for insects and spiders in the foliage, using its slender bill to probe and glean. The Golden-bellied Warbler is typically found at high elevations, between 1500 and 3000 meters, and is known to be an altitudinal migrant, moving to lower elevations during the non-breeding season.
