Golden-crowned Manakin, Lepidothrix vilasboasi, is a bird of humid forest in south-central Brazil, with a small breeding range in c Brazil along the upper Cururu and Jamanxim rivers in southwestern Pará. It was described by Sick in 1959 and is placed in the manakin family, Pipridae. The species is notable for its greenish gold crown in adult males, while females have an all-green head and upperparts. It is also known from a limited number of sites and is thought to remain in the area throughout the year.
