Myiothlypis coronata
The Golden-crowned Warbler is a small, neotropical songbird found in Central and South America. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, bright yellow underparts, and a distinctive golden crown on its head. These birds inhabit dense, humid forests and are often found foraging for insects and small fruits in the lower and middle canopy. They are known for their melodious and varied songs, which are an important part of their breeding behavior. The Golden-crowned Warbler is not currently considered at risk, but habitat loss and fragmentation are potential threats to its populations.
