Calyptocichla serinus (Verreaux, J & Verreaux, É, 1855)
Golden Greenbul, Calyptocichla serinus, is a bulbul of African forests, found from Sierra Leone to Ghana and from south-eastern Nigeria and western Cameroon to the Central African Republic and extreme north-western Angola. It is the only species in its genus and sits apart from the other greenbuls in the family. Its most notable feature is a long, slim pinkish-brown bill. Compared with other greenbuls, it is also more strikingly marked, with a bright yellow belly and a white throat, while the upperparts, wings and tail are plain olive.
