Golden-mantled Racket-tail, Prioniturus platurus, is a parrot of the Psittaculidae family that breeds in Sulawesi and nearby islands in the Australasia region. It is found in Indonesia, including the Celebes Sea islands. Its range includes lowland and montane forest, and it occurs up to about 3,000 metres. The species is known from several islands, with the nominate form on Sulawesi, Togian and Banggai, another on the Talaud Islands, and a third on Taliabu and Mangole. It can also be seen in Gunung Ambang Nature Reserve.
