Golden Myna, Mino anais, is a starling in the family Sturnidae and breeds in Australasia on Salawati in the Raja Ampat Islands north-west of New Guinea and across New Guinea. It is a passerine linked to moist lowland forest in tropical and subtropical areas. The scientific name was given by René Primevère Lesson in 1839, and he chose it in memory of his daughter Anaïs, who died at the age of eleven.
