Golden-tailed Parrotlet, Touit surdus, is a parrot of eastern Brazil in the family Psittacidae. It is confined to the east of the country and occurs in a broken range across Ceará, Pernambuco to Alagoas, and Bahia to São Paulo state. It lives in humid evergreen forest, forest on sandy ground, cacao plantations, and the lower parts of montane forest inland. Its plumage is mainly green, with yellow on the face, a white eye ring, blue at the carpal area, and greenish yellow tail feathers with narrow black tips.
