Trochalopteron ngoclinhense (Eames, JC, Trai Trong Le & Nguyen Cu, 1999)

Golden-winged Laughingthrush, Trochalopteron ngoclinhense, is a bird of western Vietnam in the southern Annamite Range, where it inhabits primary montane rainforest. It is a member of the laughingthrush family and is closely tied to the Kontum Massif. The species was first found in 1996 and formally named in 1999. It is best recognised by its chestnut crown and golden flight feathers. It remains little studied because it is shy, hard to see and confined to a small, remote range.
