Golden-winged Laughingthrush

The Golden-winged Laughingthrush is a medium-sized bird found in the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. It is known for its distinctive golden wings and a black mask across its eyes. This species is often found in dense undergrowth and bamboo thickets, where it forages for insects and fruits. The melodious calls of this bird can often be heard echoing through the forests. The Golden-winged Laughingthrush is known for its social behavior and often forms small flocks. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and fragmentation pose potential threats to its populations.
